In a Divine World

A long time ago, you and I lived in a Divine World, where both of us were equal and there was nothing that could separate us. In that world we were together, we did everything together, but we both knew that one day we will get separated, because everyone who lived in that place had the task of going down to Earth and live a normal life.

We lived the most wonderful moments during our stay in that Divine World, but the time of going to Earth arrived and we had to accept it. You left first, and some years later I did too. Those years without you weren’t easy, but knowing that I will go down and find you was my only motivation.

When I went down, as the rest of the people, I forgot your face. I forgot your smell, the softness of your hands, everything, but something inside of me knew I had to find you. I had my normal life until one day I found you.

You looked a little older than me, but I knew it was you, your laughter and personality reminded me it was you. But even when I knew you were my soul mate, there were many things that were separating us.

We are here, we found each other, we are together, but we can’t be together. Our bodies can’t be together the same way they were in that Divine World, but our souls are connected.

Every time we talk, every time we see each other, every time we are in front of each other we know there is something between us. Our brains may not remember something of those glorious times, but our souls have that special bond; a bond that no matter what, it would never break so easily.
